2. Do I need to be in shape to start?

Not at all! TACFIT is scalable for all fitness levels. Exercises can be modified, and instructors help you progress safely at your own pace.

3. What should I expect in a typical class?

A standard TACFIT class lasts 60 minutes and includes:

  • Joint mobility warm-up: 15min

  • Skill review of movement techniques: 10min

  • High-intensity circuit (work/rest intervals): 20min work out

  • Cool-down with compensation movements to aid recovery: 15min

4. What should I wear and bring?

  • Athletic clothing and training shoes or bare feet

  • Towel and water bottle

  • Openness to learning new movement patterns!

5. Is TACFIT similar to CrossFit or HIIT?

While it shares intensity and structure with HIIT, TACFIT emphasizes precision, technique, and recovery over brute force or competition. It’s designed to build strength and mobility without compromising joint health.

1. Do I need experience to attend a BJJ class?

No experience is necessary! TACFIT LSL offers beginner-friendly classes and welcomes newcomers.

2. What should I wear to my first class?

4. What should I expect during class?

5. Is sparring mandatory?

No. If you're new or uncomfortable, you can opt out of sparring. Just let the instructor know.
